Cotton used to be grown at Rattanak Mondul District in Battambang Province from 1960 to 1978. However, due to the civil war, it was abandoned by the local people.

Now that peace and stability have been restored to the country, Seladamex, together with our oversea partners, are working together with the local farmers to restore these plants to their former glory, in the same area where they were once successfully grown. The previous abundant crops are expected to, once again, reap fruitful results.

Using only natural fertilisers, our cotton is grown with utmost care to ensure that the harvest meets the international standard. Depending on the weather and soil conditions, cotton is grown at different time of the year to ensure best result during harvest.
